Naruto 528 Spoilers and Predictions

I really dug this week's chapter, although not as much as the last few. It was exciting, but I felt the ending was a bit rushed. The art quality was mostly good, but that last panel looked off. And though I came around on Kinkaku and Ginkaku with subsequent readings of the chapter, I was underwhelmed by their abilities and the cliffhanger in my initial reading. And the ability to draw forth and seal souls seems a little on the nose. It's almost inevitable that the Allied Shinobi Forces will use those weapons to combat Edo Tensei.Yet, I like quite a lot of this chapter. I like the minor amount of plot progression. I like that we got a taste of Storm Element. I like that we got a glimpse at Hidden Cloud and Hidden Leaf history. I mentioned a couple of chapters ago how mysterious the Nidaime Hokage was and we now know (maybe?) how and why he died. I liked the glimpse we got at the Nidaime Raikage. I thought the myth surrounding how Kinkaku and Ginkaku got their abilities was interesting. I like the ultimate ninja treasures and how they tied into the Sage of Six Paths. I liked the interaction between Tsunade and Ei. I liked that the Allied Shinobi Forces have more casualties and that one of the casualties is a side character whom we'd been familiar with. And I like how economically Kin-Gin used their abilities. So while I was disappointed that we didn't check an on any of the other conflicts going on, I also think it's good we had a more focused chapter this week that significantly pushed forward one conflict.Rating: 4 out of 5.PredictionsLet's examine how my predictions last week turned out. Coming off my fairly accurate first prediction, my sophomore effort was less successful. This week, we did not see Black Zetsu, nor did we see the revived jinchuriki.

Although, Kin-Gin did possess some bijuu chakra. But I was correct about Darui using his storm element techniques and the chapter did focus on some of the notable ninja sent against First Division.Next week, I think we'll continue Darui's fight against Kinkaku and Ginkaku because it's just too much of a cliffhanger to pass up. I certainly don't expect Darui to win yet, and I wouldn't be surprised if the story shifted to either Kakashi's division so we can see how that battle is progressing. I also think we're just as likely to see Black Zetsu, Hanzo, Chiyo, Kimimaro, the revived Kage, or the revived Bijuu. I'm personally rooting for Black Zetsu, Hanzo, or the revived jinchuriki making an appearance.*Correction: I stated in the review that Darui inherited his storm element techniques from the Sandaime Raikage, but he only inherited lightning techniques. Kpvincesanity and Naruto-4-hokage pointed out that the storm element techniques are most likely a kekkai genkai. Additionally, Naruto-4-hokage points out that others (he mentions Takl who has a Naruto fan site) translated the techniques Kin-Gin used as affecting the "spirit of words" instead of the "soul". The former makes more sense in relation to the technique.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations PS3 FTG game review

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations this tale of a young warrior with overwhelming power has been the topic of quite a few games, which includes two preceding installments with the Ninja Storm series (which are themselves portion of a long-running Ultimate Ninja franchise). Whilst deriving a lot from its predecessors, Ninja Storm Generations continues to refine itself in a couple of important approaches. The series still struggles from a few of the exact same pitfalls, but make no mistake about it - this really is a gorgeous game that should be played by avid fans and casual observers alike.

The story from the Naruto series has been well-explained by this point, most notably inside the previous two games. Generations' single-player, story-based component attempts a new method, opting for well more than a half dozen, isolated story lines that progressively unlock as players full other segments. These ideas eliminate any sort of hub planet, rather bridging crucial battles with fast, productive recaps to setup the following conflict. All of those chapters concentrate in some way on Naruto Uzumaki and his friend/rival/enemy Sasuke Uchiha, observing every single ninja's struggles and triumphs as they clash again and once more throughout their lives.

Though Naruto is usually dismissed as a sort of modern Dragon Ball Z, incapable of sacrificing its epic battles to tell an emotionally-driven story, Generations is proof that this assumption is incorrect. Through a mixture of anime sequences new and old, at the same time as static imagery with voice overs, this sprawling, chaotic world is often summed up within a surprisingly poignant way. Fans might fuss more than a number of the details omitted, but frankly this really is 1 with the greater representations of a lengthy series that in some cases forgets how stirring it may be.

With regards to gameplay, Ninja Storm Generations is still incredibly substantially the streamlined arena fighter established in preceding installments. With a massive roster of characters spanning the whole Naruto saga, there are a lot of choices to enter one-on-one or partner-assisted battles. The greatest modifications to gameplay are available in the form of a substitution meter, which limits the amount of instant escapes all characters have, also as the Awakening Mode, which becomes a last-ditch grab for power on the element of near-defeated players. Each are welcome suggestions, although using a meter to inhibit Substitutions may well not be the top strategy. In practice, battles often stall slightly as players wait for those specific meters to automatically refill. The Generations series isn't known for its slower pace, but becoming in a position to evade highly effective attacks is so valuable that waiting is usually worth it.

The backbone of Generations' combat program would be the substitution technique, which lets a character teleport behind his or her attacker. This mechanic drives the flow of combat, which, at its most basic, follows a rhythm of strike, teleport, strike, teleport, and so on until one side can't teleport additional. The challenge is manipulating that flow so your opponent exhausts his or her substitutions ahead of you do. This provides the game an overwhelming focus on aggressive, rush-down tactics and does not leave much room for distinct fighting designs.

http://www.sunday-game.com/naruto-shippuden-ultimate-ninja-storm-generations-swag-xbox360-pal-eur-iso-download.html In addition to being the game's backbone, the substitution strategy has received important modifications. Previously, it depleted the chakra gauge when utilised, which led to some unintended exploits from skilled players. Now, this approach has its own devoted gauge that's divided into 4 sections. Each section affords one particular substitution and refills automatically. The window for performing a substitution is larger in this game also. These tweaks make each substitution really useful and lower the ability barrier by de-emphasizing precise timing and instead focusing on resource management. They keep the core approach of substitutions even though producing the technique a lot more accessible.

Fans of Naruto are no doubt going to choose up Generations, but what is additional essential is the fact that showing this game to non-Naruto fans will make them realize what makes this franchise so beloved. Hidden below the crazy, many battles are some quite moving stories about youngsters attempting to find their way in the world - and how their elders struggle to raise and protect them. The heart of the Naruto franchise is stunningly sincere - and somehow this game finds those points and shines a spotlight on them. Highly effective stuff indeed, specifically if you just walk into this trying to find a casual, addicting fighting game with terrific graphics - which also describes Generations perfectly.

First Look At The New "Thundercats"

As a child of the 80's I'm always curious to see how cartoons from my childhood are redone, below is the first offical image from the new show.....

Here's the official press release:

Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) has begun production on ThunderCats, an all-new animated series for Cartoon Network, based upon the iconic 1980s action classic. ThunderCats is the newest series from WBA, joining Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which was recently renewed for a third season, and the following forthcoming programs: The Looney Tunes Show, MAD, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and Young Justice. The announcement was made today by Sam Register, Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs, Warner Bros. Animation.

"In addition to being Warner Bros. Animation's first anime series, ThunderCats marks our most ambitious foray yet into fantasy," said Register. "The realism and dynamic visual style we've achieved are sure to thrill viewers, and the cool weapons, vehicles and technology should help the show appeal to a diverse audience."

The 21st century reimagining of the series marks a creative collaboration between WBA and Studio4°C, one of the most vibrant animation studios in Japan, with credits including The Animatrix, Gotham Knights and Halo Legends. WBA is working closely with Studio4°C, utilizing the latter's expertise to give the ThunderCats characters a new cutting-edge look while remaining true to the compelling storylines and mythology of the original series.

"We at Studio4°C are excited to be in this creative partnership with Warner Bros. Animation to bring ThunderCats to life," said Eiko Tanaka, President and CEO, Studio4°C. "This collaboration combines the strengths of our two companies — high production values and great storytelling — toward reintroducing this classic fan-favorite to a new audience."

Roaring to life through WBA and Studio4°C's use of the Japanese animated artistry of anime, ThunderCats characters Lion-O, Mumm-Ra, Panthro, Cheetara and others will spring off the screen with realistic cat-like characteristics inconceivable in previous incarnations.

The new ThunderCats will appeal to viewers who have loved the characters all their lives as well as young newcomers to the franchise. A sweeping tale combining swords and science and boasting ferocious battles with the highest of stakes, the grand origin story of Prince Lion-O's ascension to the throne – and of those who would thwart his destiny at any cost — takes on epic dimensions in this sharp new telling. As the forces of good and evil battle each other in the quest for the fabled Stones of Power, Lion-O and his champions learn valuable lessons of loyalty, honor and mortality in every episode.

ThunderCats is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold). Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Wonder Woman) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) are the producers.

Top 10 Anime WTF

Anime Rags has done it again. They have came up with the ranking for Top 10 Anime. When I saw the list I was like... WTF?

  1. Macross F
  2. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
  3. Hetalia Axis Power
  4. Kobato
  5. Gundam 00
  6. K-ON!
  7. Code Geass R2
  8. Darker Than Black
  9. Fairy Tail
  10. Sora no Otoshimono
I assumed the list is not limited to fall season but freaking jeebus... is this for damn real?! *facepalm*

It just goes to show how weird Japanese are with their fetishes. Kobato and Sora no Otoshimono are prime example of shitty anime of the season and they are up there with Gundam 00 and Macross F. Trapeze, the most trippy anime of the season however, wasn't. It just doesn't make any sense =\

When did the quality of anime dropped this low? Oh right, when moe-shit started to invade. K-ON! was the epitome of that shit (even though I find it acceptable, the rest are just... bad).

Just look at the difference from last year winter season and this year's. Last year we have 25 or so anime excluding the OVA. This year? A mediocre 15 with only a few promised quality anime. Will this trend continues?

I really hope it doesn't.

Anyway, enough of that rant. Here is my top ten anime.
